A sketch to try out a new painting technique using textures and various brushes.
Photoshop-around 2-3 hours
It's a large tree that has these really warm 'hotspots'. The tree produces its own heat.

Very intense brushwork! The fire looks very dramatic, like embers burning at the base of the tree. I also like the unusual colour scheme you used here - mainly olive greens and warm amber oranges. Anyway this is quite a unique image imho, well done
